Glenmoor Manor

Creating and designing a brand identity for a new high-end hotel in the Scottish highlands.

Tucked away in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, Glenmoor Manor isn’t just a hotel—it’s an experience. A place where 1920s elegance meets contemporary comfort, where the wild beauty of the Highlands pairs seamlessly with refined hospitality. Our challenge? Crafting a brand that feels as storied as the manor itself, while embracing the sophistication of modern luxury. The result is an identity that balances heritage and innovation, allowing guests to step into a world of roaring fireplaces, vintage interiors, and indulgent comforts—without ever feeling outdated.

The challenge? Crafting a brand that feels as storied as the manor itself, while embracing the sophistication of modern luxury. The result is an identity that balances heritage and innovation, allowing guests to step into a world of roaring fireplaces, vintage interiors, and indulgent comforts—without ever feeling outdated.

The Challange

Crafting the identity for Glenmoor Manor meant embracing the duality of old and new—honoring the historic elegance of the manor while ensuring a refined, contemporary feel.

The visual language leans into timeless sophistication, drawing inspiration from classic 1920s design while remaining adaptable for modern luxury. A palette of rich, earthy tones mirrors the Highland landscape, while elegant typography and refined detailing bring a sense of understated grandeur.

Typography plays a central role in the brand’s personality. We needed typefaces that could capture heritage without feeling heavy, tradition without feeling outdated. A combination of serif elegance and modern sans-serif clarity strikes the right balance—anchoring the past while speaking to today’s traveler.

Illustrations and bespoke printed materials add an intimate, tactile layer to the experience. From hand-finished menus to elegantly designed guest touchpoints, each element was created to enhance the sense of immersive storytelling—a brand that doesn’t just look luxurious, but feels like stepping into history, redefined for the modern guest.
