ACT Responsible is a non-profit organization founded in 2001, dedicated to raising awareness within both the public and the creative industries about social and environmental issues through responsible communication. Each year, they collaborate with my school to define the artistic direction for an annual exhibition at the Cannes Lions Festival. This prestigious event showcases impactful initiatives and creative campaigns that address critical global challenges, including human rights, education, environmental sustainability, and social solidarity.

After the initial ideation and creation phase, I was shortlisted to continue working on the project and develop a final proposal. However, my design was not selected as the final concept for this year’s exhibition.

The Concept

This year’s theme, “Act with Courage,” was designed to inspire visitors to embrace boldness and creativity in their future work. The artistic direction aimed to highlight the stories of influential figures from around the world whose courageous actions have driven meaningful change across the various domains covered in the exhibition.

With sustainability as a key consideration, the design needed to align with ACT Responsible’s branding while maintaining an eco-friendly approach. To minimize ink consumption in printed materials, a halftone and line pattern was implemented—ensuring both visual impact and recognizability of the featured figures and elements.
